Alice in Weddingland was a huge success and thank you to all that made it possible! We had a tremendous “cast” to create this over-the-top production benefiting Brides Against Breast Cancer at The Ryan Manor in Dallas on April 1st! It is no April Fool’s joke when we say we had an absolutely fabulous team of event professionals to create this evening. We will show you more from the event, so stay tuned!
Our guests were met at the entrance by valet from Gold Crown! They then registered and quickly entered our spandex-pulled rabbit hole… complete with red carpet from Magic Moments Parties & Events and flanked with fantastic florals from the amazing DiFiori. Robin and her team really created a dream-like atmosphere that any bride would love to incorporate into her wedding! Kristie Vento from themarketingvenue.com was one of our extraordinary pros who made our marketing campaign as well as many, many other things for the event a huge success (it was an added bonus for her to have a lifelong love for Alice in Wonderland, she was our go-to expert for all questions Alice). Sarabeth and her fun team were the cutest assortment of cats we have ever seen. Not only were they adorable, but they were a sensational addition to the planning process. Lauren and Sarabeth were tireless event planners who (we hope) didn’t mind our late-night phone calls and made Alice in Weddingland a flawless soiree!
One of our donors, Rovia, was a dream come true to a lucky bride as they donated a honeymoon for the raffle. We were also lucky to have some brilliantly talented folks providing gifts for our guests. We had posta-bella and puckerupimpressions creating on-site readings and sketches and cleverlyinvite created our fun goody bags that were stuffed to the top with goodness, including custom water bottles by wrappersgalore. Shannon Caldwell, from Something-You was a fabulous artist that transformed our models for the fashion show, but surprised us all as she stepped up to donate an item for the raffle.
Eclipse Entertainment brought a stilt walker (to make us feel very small) and our very own “white queen” that served as our strolling buffet. Campisi’s and Jim Lee Catering were definitely on their “A” game with their incredible culinary delights. We even had “Eat Me” signs to point our guest to the deliciousness. While eating our guests could choose from a variety of beverages including delicious, warm coffee from Well Coffee or a “Blushing Bride” or “Alice’s Weddingland Dream” liquid catering from our very own mixologist provided by Drinks Fantastic.
i-entertainment’s Jason & Damany (a.k.a. Tweedledum & Tweedledee) set the tone for a fantastic evening of fun with their party prowess! Our guests enjoyed all the activities while lounging on beautiful furniture by Install2525. Guests could even partake in a wonderful game of “Bouquet Croquet”… complete with pink flamingos!
We were lucky to obtain an amazing tent from Big D Party Rentals that was perfect in every way! It provided shelter for the masterpiece cake provided by J. Dorian. Head over to their store to see it with your very own eyes. It was incredible. The tent, yard and trees were lit from our very talented light-a-teer Brad with es-events. Their team set up the evening before and seeing it in person made it reality. Those guys are truly artisans with light! Jay Cooper & Leslie Cole of Ducky Bob’s provided linens, tables, chairs and more to allow our guests an opportunity to take a load off and take it all in! The evening was brilliantly captured by Tony Valadez, Don Mamone and his wife Emily, and Daniel with Lynn Films.
Be sure to check back for more from the evening. There was too much to cover in one post!
