We found these amazing Victorian inspired framed thank you card templates over at Martha Stewart Weddings. We loved them so much that we just had to share them with you!
How to Make It:
Download Martha Stewart Wedding’s template (links below), and print onto slightly heavy 8 1/2-by-11-inch paper (look for a paper that coordinates with a 5 Baronial [4 1/8-by-5 1/2-inch] envelope). They have three designs; use any or all of them.
Use photo-editing software to crop and resize your photograph into a 2 1/4-by-3 1/4-inch image, and print out.
Use a bone folder and a metal ruler to score across the card at the fold marks, aligning ruler with the dashed lines. Then use a craft knife and the ruler to cut across the paper at the solid crop marks.
Slip the top edge of the paper into an extra-large oval craft punch (2 1/2 inches or 72 mm high), and center the design (turn the punch upside down so you can see how the design aligns with the hole of the punch), and punch out the opening.
Adhere photo from behind using a glue stick. Fold the right flap back to cover the photo, and glue in place. This will create a single-fold card.

Although there are many magical, touching, and special moments during a wedding, there are a couple of moments during the wedding day that tend to steal the hearts of those who witness them: The father of the bride catching his first glimpse of this little girl as a bride and the father/daughter dance. These moments truly are something special and we wanted to share these touching photographs that capture these moments perfectly. There is such a special bond between a Dad and his daughter. And even when she’s a grown woman, she will always be her Daddy’s little girl…
The reaction of a father the first time he sees his daugther as a bride is priceless:
And of course, the unforgettable father/daughter dance:

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome one of our fabulous GSS sponsors, Maile Lani Photography!!! Maile joined us in the beginning of April and is a perfect fit for GSS! (Check out her fabulous ad by Clicking here!) She sent over this gorgeous engagement session and we’re so excited to share it with you!
Please meet Brandy and Chris. Brandy met Chris her senior year of high school by accident. She was late and the only seat available in her class was next to Chris. Seven years later they got engaged and were married this May!
Can’t you tell how much they love and care about each other?! So sweet…
Maile and the couple had a ton of fun taking photographs around Gonzales, Louisiana and at Brandy’s parents house. Seriously, how beautiful is the lighting???
Here’s a little bit about the photographer, Maile Lani, from her website:
“I’m a New Orleans based wedding photographer that specializes in fine art wedding photography. I have a deeply rooted love for film and all things nostalgic and retro. I use high quality full frame digital cameras with vintage lenses to produce a look that is unlike anything else in the industry. In addition to digital, I use a wide variety of of film cameras. My camera bag contains everything from high quality Leica equipment to plastic $25 Holgas and old school Polaroid cameras. I became a wedding photographer because I love to photograph people so much. Catching a persons smile or glance from across the room when they don’t notice that I’m hiding behind a door frame is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Even though I’m more of a wedding photojournalist, I also know how to get my couples to give me a sincere laugh and make them feel completely comfortable around a camera. I know how hard it is to get your picture taken without feeling silly, so I do my best to make sure that everyone I photograph has fun! I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalists Association and I travel all over the country to capture true love on film (and memory cards!).”
Maile, thank you so much for sharing this super fun and beautiful engagement session with us! We are so excited to have you on board as a valued sponsor! Please go to Maile Lani Photography’s website by clicking here and please check out her blog by clicking here! And Brandy and Chris, we wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness!!!
