Christina custom made her wedding dress from her own design with silk she bought while on a trip to Italy.
Dan wore J. Crew seersucker vest and blue tie, while the groomsmen wore searsucker ties.
Christina & Dan’s wedding was pretty much completely DIY. A homemade cupcake and honeybee hive cake were delicious desserts for the wedding day, along with personalized honey jars as gifts for each guest.
The flowers were all done by the wedding party and friends. WOW! What an awesome job!
The reception immediately followed in a tent directly behind the ceremony chairs; The very famous Paula Deen’s Lady and Sons barbecue was in full force, along with the cheese biscuits and sweet tea (all quite fabulous, and a Savannah classic). And yes, Christina donned an apron to keep the barbecue off her custom made silk wedding dress!
They wandered the streets around Forsyth for their portraits after it rained during the ceremony (not too badly though, thankfully!).
